Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-3-15: Randy Ruiz Singles & Drives In Two Runs; Luis Garcia Singles, Doubles, & Knocks In One Run; Hugo Castellanos Strikes Out One Of Two Batters Faced & Holds Two Runners On Base

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with one double, one two-out RBI, one run, and one strikeout.

Hugo Castellanos (former Memphis-Puebla) entered in the seventh and pitched to two batters.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out.  (p-s:8-5)(ir-s:2-0)

Yucatan beat Puebla 11-5

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Quintana Roo) started and pitched five innings.  He allowed six hits, four earned runs, two walks, hit two batters, threw one wild pitch, and struck three out.  (p-s:90-53)(g/f:7-1)

Oaxaca beat Quintana Roo 6-4

Randy Ruiz (former MiLB signing-Reynosa) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted ninth.  1-for-1 with two RBIs.

Aguascalientes beat Reynosa 7-6 in 11 innings

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) entered late in the game at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-1 at the plate.

Campache beat Tabasco 7-4
