I've never believed in downgrading a team's record based on wins that have been stacked on the backs of inferior opponents. What's the purpose of doing that? You play 162 games, and at the end of the schedule you count up your victories to see if it's good enough to win the division or claim a wild card playoff spot. If not, you go home. In the standings all wins are equal.
