For Carlos Martinez, Monday night was pretty much a start to forget. All's well that ends well -- the Cardinals came back to beat the Cubs from the five-run hole Martinez put them in -- but that seven-earned-runs-in-3 2/3-innings pitching line sure put a dent in what had been a stunning start to his first season in the St. Louis rotation.
