An inning after taking a foul tip square off his right knee guard, Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina had to pull himself out of the team's series-opening game against Milwaukee Friday night.

Neither Mike Matheny or Yadier Molina believe the All-Star catcher is seriously injured after he took a foul ball off an already tender spot on his knee. But both agree he is very sore and likely to miss at least a game or two after he took the hard foul in the same spot as one he suffered in the Redbirds' previous home stand.
