Every year from 2000 to 2007, Jim Edmonds patrolled center field at Busch Stadium for the Cardinals’ opening day, six at Busch Stadium II and the last two at the new park. On Monday, he was back at Busch in an opening day starting lineup, cloaked with a new uniform as part of Redbird royalty.
