With acknowledgement that right-hander Adam Wainwright suffered an injury to his left Achilles coming out of the batters' box on Saturday, the Cardinals have begun to brace for the strong possibility that they won't see Wainwright pitch again this year.

The Cardinals will have to try and replace ace Adam Wainwright, who is likely done for the season with an Achilles injury. It's a terrible blow to Waino and the team.
