The St. Louis Cardinals and Peoria Chiefs have announced the preliminary roster for the Chiefs 33rd season of professional baseball in the Midwest League. The roster includes 10 players who have been drafted in the first 10 rounds, 10 2014 draftees, two of the top 10 players in the Cardinals organization ranked by Baseball America and six players who played at least one game for the Chiefs in 2014. The current roster includes 26 players so there is expected to be a roster move heading into Thursday's 7:00 p.m. opener against Quad Cities at Dozer Park.
