John Smoltz rushed to the Otesaga Resort Hotel's golf course after completing his duties as an MLB Network analyst during last summer's Hall of Fame ceremonies. As he beat the oncoming sunset by breezing through a round in less than two hours, the former pitcher found himself grateful for the opportunity to have just witnessed the induction of his former manager -- Bobby Cox -- and two of his closest friends -- Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine.
