Non-Tenders Who Should Be On The Cardinals' Radar

As the deadline to tender contracts to players not under guaranteed deals passed, the St. Louis Cardinals parted with utility infielder Daniel Descalso. With the depth the team has amassed in the range of backup infielders, the defending NL Central Champs could afford to let Descalso pursue employment elsewhere. On the other side of the coin, teams around the league have let go of players in similar situations who would likely not have a role on their former teams in 2015, or at least at the price arbitration would command for them.
