Cardinals Overrating Their Prospects?

I continue to be fascinated, and perhaps a tad confused, by Cardinals GM John Mozeliak's concern over "blocking" outfield prospects by signing/acquiring a hitter that could help the team, well, you know, score more runs in 2015. A hitter that could put some thump in the middle of the lineup instead of contributing to the ground-ball collection over there at Busch Stadium.
