Cardinals-Cubs Open 2015 MLB Season On Sunday Night April 5th

Major League Baseball announced this morning that ESPN will open its 26th Major League Baseball regular-season with an exclusive, national presentation of 2015 Opening Night - the St. Louis Cardinals at the Chicago Cubs from historic Wrigley Field - on Sunday, April 5, at 7 p.m. CT. MLB Opening Night will air on ESPN2. This marks the third time the Cardinals have been selected to open the baseball season since ESPN Sunday Night Baseball began in 1990 (the other games being in 1994 vs. CIN & 2007 vs. NYM).
