Crowds Mourn 'El Fenomeno' Oscar Taveras In His Hometown

When he was about 5 years old, Cardinals rookie outfielder Oscar Taveras coined a nickname for himself that several of the thousands of mourners who attended his funeral Tuesday in his hometown had on the backs of the jerseys they wore.

Grief wore a diamond-stud earring, a fitted gray shirt with a black collar, two metal bracelets and one thick yellow rubber band that read "VIP: Lifestyles Resort."
