This time last year, Jhonny Peralta was a beaten man. After batting .303, dropping eleven bombs on the American League through 107 games, and earning an All-Star selection, Peralta was saddled with a 50-game suspension from Major League Baseball after it was revealed that he had been one of the players receiving PED's as part of the Biogenesis scandal. The Tigers traded for Jose Iglesias from the Red Sox and Peralta was displaced as the Tigers' shortstop earlier than expected.
