Rookie Michael Wacha was the stark difference maker on the Cardinals’ pitching staff last postseason, when he won as many games (four) as he did in the regular season. But the chances of Wacha repeating anything like that dimmed Friday night with the news that the 23-year-old righthander was being pulled from his scheduled start Sunday, with no definite return.
