Things aren't going swimmingly for the Brewers. On Sunday, they were knocked around by the Cardinals (STL 9, MIL 1) and in doing so dropped three of four at home to the division leaders, and overall they've lost 11 of their last 12. More to the point, what was a 3.0-game lead in NL Central on Aug. 17 is now a 5.0-game deficit. Oh, and the Brewers are now in third place and no longer in wild card position.
