It began with Jason and Caitlin Motte just wanting to help after her grandfather was diagnosed with cancer in 2010. Four years later, their “Strikeout Cancer” campaign is being recognized today as an official day throughout Major League Baseball–with players on every team donning the now familiar “K-Cancer” shirts to help raise awareness and funds for the cause.
