RHP Joaquin Benoit (shoulder) will throw his second side session Wednesday. If all goes well, Padres manager Bud Black said he believed Benoit could rejoin the bullpen Friday. RHP Blaine Boyer (shoulder) is also scheduled to throw his first bullpen Wednesday.
