Not only did lefthander Tyler Lyons enable the Cardinals’ bullpen to remain intact for the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader but he may have injected himself into conversation as a possible starter for Thursday night’s series opener in Milwaukee, a start that Justin Masterson, ineffective again Saturday, isn’t likely to make.
