The Indians acquired outfielder James Ramsey from St. Louis on Wednesday for right-hander Justin Masterson. After the trade, the left-handed hitting Ramsey reported to Class AAA Columbus where he made his first two starts in center field. Ramsey, 24, was the Cardinals' No.1 pick in 2012 and played his college ball at Florida State. Ramsey was hitting .300 (73-for-243) with 14 doubles, one double 13 homers and 36 RBI at Class AA Springfield at the time of the trade.
