Former Cardinals Playing In MLB Action 8-18-14: David Peralta Hits A Solo Home Run; Gerald Laird Collects Two Singles & One RBI; Fernando Salas Strikes Out Three Of Four Batters Faced For The Hold

David Peralta (former Johnson City-Arizona) started in right field and batted third.  1-for-5 with one home run, one RBI, one run, and one outfield assist.

Gerald Laird (former St. Louis-Atlanta) started at catcher and batted seventh.  2-for-5 with one RBI and two runs.
