Congratulations to the first group of new inductees into the Cardinals’ Hall of Fame. It’s an impressive, popular and deserving collection of talent. The late, great shortstop Marty Marion — who was Ozzie Smith before Ozzie Smith. The two wonderful center fielders, Willie McGee and Jim Edmonds. And of course longtime Cardinals family member Mike Shannon, the team’s radio voice and all-around St. Louis institution.
