When the A’s acquired Jeff Samardzija and Jason Hammel, Milone, who was 6-3 with a 3.55 ERA in 16 starts, was demoted to Triple A and he asked to be traded. The A’s haven’t obliged, but teams are calling. The A’s aren’t eager to deal him.
