A chatterbox whether he’s in the field or pacing the dugout, Cardinals Class AA outfielder and rising prospect James Ramsey knew the severity of a strain in his ribcage when he ached just gathering the air needed to exhort his teammates. He “couldn’t even come close to yelling,” and sneezing caused kaleidoscopic bursts of pain. Ramsey had to temper his vocal enthusiasm as he recovered.
