The Diamondbacks have signed 20-year-old righthander Wei-Chieh Huang from Taiwan. Huang pitched at the National Taiwan University of Physical Education and Sport, where he showed an 89-94 mph fastball. His secondary pitches are inconsistent but have their moments, with an 80-83 mph slider that has come on recently and could develop into an average pitch, along with a changeup that flashes average and could tick up.
