Cubs Sign International Free Agent Tony Rijo
The Cubs have signed 16-year-old Dominican third baseman Tony Rijo for $100,000. He’s 6-foot-1, 175 pounds and is a righthanded hitter with quick hands, a line-drive stroke and occasional power.
