Former Cardinals Playing In NPB Action 6-21-14: Rainel Rosario Singles, Doubles, & Drives In One Run; Hector Luna Collects Two Singles & One Double; Brandon Dickson Strikes Out Five & Allows Four Runs Over Five Innings

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Hiroshima) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  2-for-3 with one double, one RBI, one run.

Hiroshima beat Nippon Ham 8-4


Hector Luna (former St. Louis-Chunichi) started at third base and batted third.  3-for-4 with one double, one run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Chiba Lotte beat Chunichi 8-5


Jorge Sosa (former St. Louis-Yokohama) entered in the seventh and pitched to six batters.  He allowed three hits, three earned runs, one home run, and one walk.

Yokohama beat Seibu 8-7


Brandon Dickson (former St. Louis-Orix) started and pitched five innings.  He allowed nine hits, four earned runs, one walk, and struck five out for the losing decision (6-5).

Yakult beat Orix 11-3


Joey Butler (former St. Louis-Orix) could receive the call up depending on how well he plays in the next sereies: Yakyubaka
