This afternoon, lefty and Francis Howell grad Mark Buehrle, the big-league leader in wins with 10 this season, will do something he has only done once before in his career — face his boyhood team. With the exception of one season with a dysfunctional Miami club, Buerhle has made a career in the American League, and the interleague schedule only meshed back in June 2006 to pit his White Sox and his beloved Cardinals. Buehrle allowed four runs on 10 hits, including two homers, but still won that start.
