Listed at 6’2, 170lbs, Weaver started 16 games for the Seminoles this season finishing 8-4 with a 2.62 ERA. He threw a pair of complete games and went 106.1 innings, striking out 85 and walking 23.

Florida State's Luke Weaver was selected with the 27th overall pick in the first round by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2014 MLB First Year Player Draft. The announcement came from MLB Commissioner Bud Selig Thursday evening inside Studio 42 at the MLB Network in Secaucus, N.J.
