On the disabled list since the start of the season, Rafael Furcal (hamstring) continues to perform baseball activity. Barring any setbacks, he could begin playing games with extended spring training Monday. Once he begins a rehab assignment Furcal can remain in the minors as long as three weeks to get ready. He totaled just 18 Grapefruit League at-bats.
