Former Cardinals Playing In NPB Action 4-18-14: Brian Falkenborg Strikes Out Three & Allows Two Walks Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning; Hector Luna Singles, Walks, & Scores One Run

Chad Huffman (former Memphis-Chiba Lotte) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and took over in right field, batting leadoff.  0-for-1 at the plate.

Softbank beat Chiba Lotte 6-1


Brandon Dickson (former St. Louis-Orix) started and pitched 4.2 innings.  He allowed five hits, four runs (two earned), one home run, four walks, hit one batter, and struck three out for the losing decision (2-2).

Seibu beat Orix 6-3


Brian Falkenborg (former St. Louis-Rakuten) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, two walks, and struck three out.

Rakuten beat Nippon Ham 9-5


Hector Luna (former St. Louis-Chunichi) started at third base and batted third.  1-for-4 with one run, one walk, and grounded into one double play.

Chunichi beat Yomiuri 7-2 in 11 innings
