Starting off the season with a hot bat is not something new for St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Matt Adams—he hit .542 in March-April to begin 2013. But after putting together his eighth multi-hit game of the season last night in Milwaukee, Adams has his average at .370—and has done so against the defensive shifts that posed a problem for him the end of last year.
