By now, I don’t know why we’d be surprised to see Kevin Siegrist, Carlos Martinez and Trevor Rosenthal bring fire out of the bullpen, throwing fastballs that all but snicker at overwhelmed hitters as the pitches sizzle by. I don’t know why we’re gobsmacked when they challenge the rules of fair play by reducing the heat, slowing things down and icing the batters with offspeed illusion.
