Day 40: Cardinals (10-10) @ Mets (13-11)

This is the final true road game for the Cardinals, who will travel to Port St. Lucie for their sixth spring meeting against the Mets. The club is handling the schedule a bit differently today. Instead of bussing up to take batting practice at the Mets’ spring ballpark, the Cardinals will do all of their hitting here in Jupiter before making the drive. The Cardinals are also taking everyone — including all starting pitchers — on this trip. That’s a first this spring.

The Cardinals plan to take a full roster north for their final true road trip of the Grapefruit League season, but the drive is short enough that they'll hit here before playing up there, in Port St. Lucie.
