After missing 2012 with a shoulder injury, Charlie Tilson had a break-out season for the Peoria Chiefs in 2013. The former 2nd round pick hit .303 in 100 games with four home runs, eight doubles, six triples, 15 steals, 49 runs scored and 30 RBI. He earned a late season promotion to Palm Beach and collected 10 hits in nine games. A native of the Chicago area (New Trier High School), Tilson is headed to spring training this week for STEP Camp. He joined us on Tuesday for a chat about his off-season and a preview of 2014.
