Rockies Considering Moving Mitchell Boggs Back Into Rotation

The Rockies' fourth and fifth starters were dreadful this year. Upgrading those slots is a must. The Rockies might have to look inside the organization. They are mulling the idea of using Mitchell Boggs as a starter. He lost his way in the bullpen this year, but he trained in the minor leagues to be a starter. At 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds, he's built to start, if he can rediscover his command, a huge if after he posted an 8.10 ERA this year. In 2012, he was one of the NL's best setup men. He's proved he has the stuff, so the idea of lengthening him out in spring training is worth consideration.
