Peoria Stepping Up For Tornado Relief

By now, you’ve likely seen the pictures coming out of central Illinois, where a tornado tore through several towns on Sunday. Some of the worst damage is in the communities of Pekin and Washington, two towns that neighbor the larger city of Peoria. The Cardinals’ High-A affiliate in Peoria is stepping up to raise money for the Central Illinois Tornado Relief fund and is seeking donation for their online auction. According to information posted on their website, several of the organization’s employees, player host families and, of course, fans, have been affected by these storms.
