Indians To Re-Evaluate Chris Perez's Career With Organization Before Making Decision On Future

Regarding closer Chris Perez, Antonetti said the organization would look at his contribution over the length of his stay in Cleveland, not just his poor performance in August and September.

"We try to not react to any handful of games," said Antonetti. "The fact is Chris has been a very effective closer for us over the last handful of years. And he's been one of the most successful closers we've had here.

"That's the lens, through which we'll look at it. We have a decisions to make, not just with Chris, but with our whole roster."

Perez is eligible for arbitration this winter.
