It’s official now: We have a baseball postseason in St. Louis because we now have a real-life, honest-to-goodness debate — make that “controversy” — regarding the makeup of the National League Central champs’ rotation. We know this because what was deemed an embarrassment of riches before Friday’s Game 2 at Busch Stadium morphed into merely an embarrassing day at the yard by the time the Cardinals’ 7-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates mercifully put itself to bed.
