Why Can't Cardinals Beat Mystery Starters?
After losing the first game of the four-game stay at Colorado, the Cardinals are 9-16 on the road since July 26. In the 16 losses they have been outscored 86-23, batted only .168 and averaged only 1.4 runs per game. And their pitchers have a 5.46 ERA in the 16 defeats.
