Allen Craig Is Out With Mid-Foot Sprain; Tony Cruz Starts; Matt Adams' Feat, Revisited; Extra Bases
Braced for the possibility that cleanup hitter Allen Craig could miss the remainder of the season with a foot injury, the Cardinals were encouraged Thursday by scans taken of Craig’s left foot that did not reveal a fracture.
