For the second consecutive week, the Texas League has named Springfield Cardinals All-Star LHP Tim Cooney the Texas League Pitcher of the Week, this time for the week of August 12 - 18. Cooney also won the award last week, covering August 5 - 11, and is the first pitcher in the league this season to claim consecutive weekly honors.
