Shelby Miller Faces Dodgers; Cardinals Look To Take Two In A Row

After snapping the Dodgers fourth longest road winning streak in MLB history last night, the Cardinals will try to make it two in a row against one of the hottest teams in baseball.
After first posting a lineup that had Allen Craig hitting third and playing first base, manager Mike Matheny made a switch to start Matt Adams. He said the change was not prompted by any injury/health concern with Craig, but rather by a desire to get Adams a start. With a left-hander starting for the Dodgers on Thursday, this was seen as the best opportunity to start Adams in this series. Adams delivered a pinch-hit, two-run homer in the Cardinals’ win on Tuesday.
