St. Louis Cardinals broadcaster Mike Shannon is recovering comfortably this week after undergoing a successful surgical procedure Monday to replace his aorta valve.
Mike Shannon, the voice of the Cardinals and a member of the organization for more than five decades, had heart surgery Monday, the team and family confirmed Wednesday.
