Cardinals manager Mike Matheny, addressing the proposed improvements to instant replay with the implementation of a certain number of manager challenges, said, “I think it’s healthy, all the way across. I think it’s helpful to us. I think it’s helpful to the umpires, too. It makes it a lot easier on them to go and take another look.”
