We interviewed Mike Mayers, a right-handed pitcher out of Ole Miss, in late June. Mayers had been drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the third round of the 2013 MLB Draft. At the time of our June 24th interview, Mayers had been assigned to the GCL Cardinals. He has since been promoted to the Peoria Chiefs of the Midwest League (A).
