For the first time since July 30, the Cardinals take the field today in first place (albeit a tie) in the National League Central. Since Aug. 10, the Cards have made up four games on the Pirates. Of course, winning eight of the last 10 certainly helps expedite that climb.

With the Braves starting lefty Mike Minor, the Cardinals will use an almost all-righty lineup for their 1:15 p.m. finale of a four-game series.
