Astros Strengthen Ties With Mexico, Add Two Players
The Astros have dipped into general manager Jeff Luhnow’s hometown, acquiring two sluggers from the Mexico City Diablos Rojos. Almost a week after they agreed to terms, the team announced that first baseman Japhet Amador and outfielder Leo Heras are moving from the Mexican League to the Astros’ organization.
