Skip Schumaker Waiting For Results Of Appeal; Dodgers Sign Two From Venezuela & One Out Of Germany
Dodgers utilityman Skip Schumaker had a conference-call hearing with MLB officials Tuesday to appeal his two-game suspension and said he hoped to have a result later Tuesday night or Wednesday. Schumaker was suspended in the wake of the June 11 brawl between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks, but was not ejected from the game by umpires.
