Left fielder Ryan Ludwick (shoulder) hit on the field against Friday.
“Ideally, he’s going to start a rehab program when we go on the road (Monday),” Lessard said, “as long as this weekend goes well, no setbacks.”
Ludwick said he feels good.
“I’m very close,” he said.
The length of his rehab stint will depend on how he does. Positions players are limited to 20 days.
