Cardinals Glad To Be Leading, Not Chasing, This Season
A veteran now of two September sprints to the finish, Cardinals third baseman David Freese doesn’t need the standings or the Cardinals’ late-season records to remind him how far and how fast the Cardinals had to go reach the playoffs the past couple seasons.
